We collect what you give us — your name and email — plus the characters and messages you create and basic usage data that keeps the app running. We don't ask for more than we need.
02How we use your data
Your data powers the core experience: signing you in, generating scenes, remembering conversations, and keeping things reliable. We don't use it to build advertising profiles.
03Characters & content
The characters and scenes you make are stored so you can return to them. Private characters stay private to you; anything you post to shared spaces is visible to others.
04AI processing
Generating a scene sends your prompt and character details to our model providers so the character can respond. This happens only to fulfil your request.
05Sharing & disclosure
We share data only with the service providers who help us run Scenes, or when the law requires it. We never sell your personal information to anyone.
06Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records by law.
07Your rights & choices
You can view, export, or delete your data from Settings at any time, and you control notification and privacy preferences there too.
08Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please help by keeping your login safe.
09Children's privacy
Scenes isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove it.
